Role Description

This full-time hybrid role as a Smart Pole Engineer is located in Modiin-Maccabim-Reut, with flexibility for some remote work. The Smart Pole Engineer will be responsible for designing and deploying the latest hardware, software and communication strategies for infrastructure platforms, including but not limited to 5G Small Cells, and IoT solutions. The Engineer will work closely with other team members and community partners to develop unique solutions for each community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• Experience with IoT and wireless communication networks
• Strong understanding of computer network concepts and protocols such as TCP/IP, VPN, and VLAN
• Experience with software development and deployment, including scripting languages such as Python
• Familiarity with solar power, battery systems, and fiber optics
• Ability to communicate technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences,and work effectively in cross-functional and collaborative teams
• Experience with security and compliance in network and communication deployments is a plus
