Deployment and Support SW Engineer

seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team in a role that combines learning, understanding, and addressing the systemic needs of our clients. The responsibilities include developing software modules and features as needed, preparing and installing software systems for client deployment, and providing support in adapting the system to meet client production requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Software Development:

• Develop modules and features for software as required.
• Ensure the codebase is well-maintained, debugged, and improved as needed.
• Backup and document existing code.

Installation and Support:

• Prepare and install software systems for deployment at client sites.
• Provide remote support and guidance to clients over the internet.
• Travel to client sites, both domestic and international, as required.

Client Interaction:

• Conduct periodic client visits.
• Work closely with clients to understand and address their production requirements.

Technical Expertise:

• Proficient in C# .NET development.
• Knowledge of operating cameras and machine vision is a significant advantage.
• Practical experience in image processing, showcasing completed projects in the field is desirable.
• Experience in web development with .NET is a plus.
• Familiarity with SQL databases is advantageous.
• Knowledge of Python is a plus.
• Understanding of deep learning techniques is an advantage.

Cloud Environment:

• Work with the existing codebase documented in the Azure DevOps environment.

Education:

• Preferably a graduate of the Technion with a focus on computer science.
