Big Data Developer

A global Big Data company that develops End-to-End solutions in the realms of advertising and online marketing. The company's advertising platform is among the largest in the United States, with the capability to tailor advertisements to viewers by processing millions of ads per second.

As part of the role within the Big Data team, employees work with a stack that includes ETL, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Java, NoSQL, SQL, Kubernetes, Gitlab, Grafana, InfluxDb, and Kibana. Java is the primary programming language used. This role involves working with extremely high scales, presenting numerous challenges and opportunities for development from scratch.

Currently employing 1200 global staff, with 180 of them based in Israel, the company is located in Tel Aviv, close to the railway, and offers a hybrid work model with three days remote from home.

Requirements-

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or equivalent degrees

• 4 years of data engineering experience

• Experience with Pipelines/ETLs/Hadoop/Spark/Kafka/Streaming systems

• 3+ years of experience in Java or Scala.

• Experience with SQL & NOSQL DBs.

• Experience in dealing with performance and high scale systems

• Experience with Kubernetes - advantage

• Experience with Gitlab, Grafana, InfluxDb, Kibana – advantage
