Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Role Description

As a QA Automation Engineer and Production Support Specialist, you will be an integral part of our team, ensuring the highest quality of our software products. Your role bridges the gap between development and real-world application, maintaining product integrity and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Quality Assurance (QA):

• Develop and maintain automation infrastructure, aligning with business needs and project requirements.
• Design and execute detailed test plans and cases to ensure software quality.
• Work closely with development teams to identify, document, and resolve software defects.
• Conduct thorough regression, performance, and load testing.
• Maintain comprehensive test documentation, tracking test results and methodologies.

Production Support:

• Proactively monitor production systems for optimal performance and availability.
• Provide prompt and effective support to customer inquiries and issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production problems efficiently.
• Collaborate with development teams for quick deployment of fixes and enhancements.
• Implement strategies to prevent future production issues.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in QA methodologies and practices in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Proficiency with Selenium for scripting and automations (minimum 2 years)
• 2+ years of experience testing Node.js based micro-services applications.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or REST-assured (2+ years).
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills with at least 3 years of experience in writing automation scripts and test cases.
• 2+ years of experience with performance and load testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Exceptional problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Customer-focused approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality support.
• Experience with cloud-based environments is a valuable asset.
