Microsoft Modern Work and Security Engineer

CloudEdge is seeking a Microsoft Modern Work and Security Engineer to join our team of experts. In this role, you will play a crucial part in helping our customers enhance their security measures. Your primary responsibilities include delivering top-notch Modern Work environments and security solutions through the utilization of Microsoft 365 Security and MDM solutions.

Responsibilities

• Assess Customer Needs: Evaluate customer requirements and design security solutions to meet their objectives.

• Implement and Configure Solutions: Utilize Microsoft 365 to implement and configure security solutions, including identity and access management, threat protection, information protection, governance, and compliance.

• Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues: Address security issues and incidents, providing root cause analysis and recommendations for resolution.

• Provide Ongoing Support and Maintenance: Ensure security solutions are up to date and aligned with best practices, offering continuous support and maintenance.

• Educate and Train Customers: Guide, support, and train customers on the effective usage and management of security solutions, providing documentation and resources.

• Stay Updated on Security Trends: Keep abreast of the latest security trends, threats, and technologies, sharing knowledge and insights with the team and customers.

Requirements

• Security Experience: Minimum of 4 years in security engineering, consulting, or administration, with a preference for expertise in endpoint management (SCCM/Intune).

• Microsoft Defender Knowledge: Proficiency in Microsoft Defender security technologies, including Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Microsoft Defender for Identity, and Microsoft Defender for Office 365.

• Communication Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

• Adaptability: Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

• Travel Readiness: Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.

• Certification: Certification as a Microsoft 365 Security Administrator Associate or proficiency in Microsoft 365 and security solutions.
