Backend Developer

As a Backend Engineer, you will join a team responsible for all the data activities in our system, from getting the data from our customers all the way to our AI models and finally to our web platform, working with cutting edge technologies: Kafka, K8s, Airflow and many more. In addition, you will be part of a team responsible for all the ML OPS activities, implementing the different pipelines to execute our AI models.

A Day In Your Life

• Collaborate with Data Scientists and Data Engineers to transform ML models into production-ready applications.
• You will work on our data platform, delivering the data into our internal and external customers, i.e.: data science team, web developers and of course our customers.
• Research, design and implement data pipelines, ensuring robustness, scalability, and security.
• Research, design and implement ML deployment pipelines, ensuring the robustness, scalability, and security of ML solutions.
• Implement testing, validation, and monitoring methodologies to ensure the consistency and quality of data & ML models.
• Together with the Data Engineers, integrate new data sources, ensuring they are cleaned, processed, and made available for model training.
  
  

What You Bring

• B.Sc. in computer science or other relevant background.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in server-side development using Python, Java, C#.
• Team player and ability to learn quickly.
• Proficient understanding of distributed systems principles.
• Experience implementing micro-services.
• Deep knowledge and experience with Kafka & Airflow.
• Experience with NoSQL like SingleStore,MongoDB, Apache Cassandra, etc…
• Experience with restful API’s (REST, JSON).
• Experience working with Kubernetes.
• Experienced in Agile methodologies and CI/CD processes.
• Experience with Working on Cloud Environments (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Excellent technical writing and communication skills.
• MLOps-related technologies - big advantage.
