Sr. Full Stack Engineer

Opmed.ai is an innovative startup dedicated to improving the efficiency and resilience of healthcare operations. Our mission is to help healthcare providers deliver better patient care by optimizing planning, scheduling, and operations using AI, Network science, and advanced optimization algorithms. We seek a highly skilled and motivated Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our team in Herzliya, Israel.

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our SaaS solution for healthcare providers and ambulatory surgery centers and mentoring and leading other engineers on the team.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain our SaaS platform using modern web technologies
• Collaborate with product and design teams to build user-friendly and scalable solutions
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
• Mentor and lead other engineers on the team
• Troubleshoot and debug applications
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in web development

Requirements:

• 6+ years of full-stack development experience 
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent industry experience
• Strong experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, React.js, Node.js, MongoDB, Python
• Experience with server-side development (such as Node.js)
• Deep understanding of web application architecture  
• Familiarity with agile software development methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Fluent written and verbal English skills
• Proven experience in leading or mentoring other engineers

It will be great if you have:

• Experience with Container Orchestration tools such as Kubernetes and Docker
• Experience with AWS tools such as Elasticsearch, SQS, SNS, S3, Lambda or similar alternative solutions
• Experience with healthcare protocols such as FHIR and HL7
