What you will do:

The Senior ISP Engineer will lead, develop, and prototype algorithms for ISP functions.

Responsibilities

• Develop advanced image processing pipelines for the latest SoC blocks and chipsets
• Provide solutions to the complex sensor and hardware control logic to work seamlessly with the imaging pipeline.
• Develop and prototype algorithms for ISP functions including demosaic, defect correction, color correction, tone mapping, and other advanced features.
• Research, develop & implement ISP algorithms on various SoCs to provide high-quality images under runtime constraints.
• Conduct trade studies to evaluate existing market solutions for ISPs
• Collaborate with algorithm and software teams to define and implement auto-exposure and auto-white balance algorithms
• Collaborate with Hardware engineers to co-optimize algorithms for hardware implementation.
• Collaborate with our System team to analyze and solve various challenges involving our unique AI capabilities.
• Work with Tier 1 suppliers to troubleshoot image sensing-related issues

Requirements

• MSc in Electrical Engineering or related, or experienced BSc candidates
• Experience in the development and prototyping of algorithms for ISP.
• Algorithms development end-to-end experience - research, from POC level to production level, in Image Processing fields.
• At least 3 years of C/ C++ experience programming
• Real-time programming experience
• Knowledge of imaging process

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of algorithm development under HW limitations/considerations
• Knowledge of physics/optics
• HW/FW experience
