The System Test Engineer Role

As part of the Customer Verification team in the R&D Organization you will work with exploratory test of Qlik’s software solutions for Data Integration and Data Analytics. You will be part of a talented team of senior testers with excellent product knowledge who can help you learn and explore our products. We’re an international team with testers based in Sweden and Canada. This position is based in Israel to be co-located with development teams focusing on our Data Integration products.

You enjoy collaborating with others and can do so well in a remote work environment. You want to understand the customer and seek information about how customers use products. With your knowledge of the product and customer use cases you can help development teams improve quality and customer experience.

What makes this role interesting?

Play a pivotal role in enhancing Qlik’s products by:

• Testing Customer Scenarios and reporting issues based on input from the field.
• Perform exploratory test of new features from R&D development teams with focus on the full system and the customer experience.
• Set up and maintain data integration test environments, also working with third party solutions.
• Develop a solid product knowledge in Data Integration and Data Analytics cloud solutions.
• Collaborate with team members in the Customer Verification team, R&D development teams and with customer facing teams to keep high quality of Qlik’s cloud solutions.
  
  

We Need Team Members With

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
• Proven experience or strong interest in exploratory testing of software products
• Experience: 5 years of work experience of software testing or similar
• Quality mindset
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience of working in an international environment, cross cultures, and time zones
• Ability to work independently and as part of a global team.
• Highly proficient in spoken and written English

• Experience of working with data integration products
• Experience of testing SaaS software with frequent releases
