About The Role

At our spellbinding attractions, Technicians are the wizards behind the curtain, ensuring the fun and magic reach unprecedented heights. Under the guidance of the Technical and Facilities Manager, you'll be a crucial part of planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring the day-to-day operation sparkles with safety, efficiency, and, of course, enchantment. Your realm of responsibilities includes the care of rides, cinema, equipment, machinery, and more, with a spellbinding compensation of $18.00/hour.

Responsibilities

• Dive into the magical world of maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting all aspects of the attraction's equipment and machinery—from HVAC to electrical, electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic, and plumbing systems.
• Use your hands-on knowledge and experience to conjure solutions, ensuring minimal downtime for rides and attractions to create an unparalleled guest experience.
• Cast your spell on custodial duties, re-lamping, lighting system maintenance, painting, wall repair, food and beverage equipment upkeep, shipping and receiving, as well as exhibit setup and takedown.
  
  

• A wizard of self-motivation with previous maintenance experience, especially in maintaining a variety of equipment, including rides.
• A magical minimum of 1 year of service industry experience in a technical/themed environment.
• Able to wield flexibility and provide the highest level of service even in high-pressure or stressful situations.
• Must be as flexible as a shape-shifter, ready to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and special events.
  
  

• 1+ years of technical college; or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
  
  

• Possess the physical prowess to stand, walk, balance, reach, pull, push, and lift items for prolonged periods.
