The system engineer position is at the Flex site in Migdal HaEmek, the site has about 2000 employees and serves over 60 companies.

What a typical day looks like:

• Designing jigs and fixtures for electromechanical systems assembly's, SMT processes and quality related solutions for delicate and precise assemblies.
• Planning and executing all mechanical-related activities during the product lifecycle (development, NPI, and sustain)
• Sustaining engineering activities such as product improvements, ECO implementation, production line support, and more.
• Mechanically supports for troubleshooting and solutions following production problems in NPI & mass production lines.
• Conducting tests and verifications for quality, reliability and assembly.
• Publishing test reports to peers and management
• Establishing and maintaining close working collaboration and communication with all relevant stakeholders (R&D, engineering, operations, manufacturers).
  
  

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering
• Deep knowledge of using SolidWorks CAD is a must
• At least 5 years of experience in multidisciplinary product mechanical design (integrated electronics, plastics, metal, rubber, and other related technologies).
• Experience with the mechanical product development process - concept, design, prototyping, testing, and manufacturing.
• Experience with Design for Manufacturability, and Cost (DFM, DFC).
• Experience in transferring products from development to production (NPI) in a mass production environment
• Able to plan and schedule the project mechanical tasks while tracking the deliverables
• Experience working in a global matrixed organization with the ability to work well in a cross-cultural team environment - Must
• Excellent presentation and communication skills in English & Hebrew (written & verbal) – Must
• Experience in resolving system complex issues and be “hands on” when needed.
• Definition, writing and management of Design Inputs and flow down.
