The Industry and Customer Collaboration (ICC) team serves as the eyes and ears of the company, working with leading customers and research organizations across all of KLA’s solutions to drive adoption, help develop new solutions for industry inflections, and understand our customers’ needs for their next-generation processes. We are looking for a new member to build our technical capability and to support KLA’s continued growth!
KLA is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
The successful candidate will have an extensive background in the Semiconductor Industry, particularly:
- Experience in process flow integration and/or unit-process development in one or more of the following process types: Power, Wide Bandgap, MEMs, RF, or photonics. Preferably with a background in process development and R&D.
- Experience with process control and development methodologies. These could include statistical process control (SPC), design-of-experiments (DOE), product yield analysis, new product introduction (NPI), device parametric variation reduction, yield ramp, and new process qualification / robustness validation for yield and reliability.
- Familiarity with specialty semi product design and/or device modelling and physics are a plus, but not required.
- Expertise in process emulation software (Coventor SEMulator3D, Synopsys Process Explorer, etc.) are also helpful.

- Provide company-wide subject matter expertise for specialty semiconductor process flows—both existing and emerging processes.
- Support and/or lead engagements with KLA customers around the world. Work side-by-side with KLA applications engineers in the field as well as with KLA internal divisions, serving as a voice of the customer.
- Aggregate industry present and future specialty semiconductor challenges and requirements. Communicate these regularly to KLA divisions and management to help drive roadmap decisions for semiconductor defect inspection, metrology, etch, CVD, and PVD toolsets.
- Support KLA PLC (product life cycle) teams as required, contributing process and integration expertise on capability requirements for KLA solutions.
- Attend and present at relevant industry conferences for specialty semiconductor (technical papers, invited talks, and keynotes)
