Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Still Retoucher to join our newly established in-house creative team at Western Digital’s Flash Division. As we embark on the exciting journey of building our content creation and creative studio, this role offers an opportunity for creative professionals to get in at the ground level and contribute to shaping the visual identity of our brand, enhancing and retouching images, ensuring high quality and consistency across all visuals.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with photographers and graphic designers to enhance and refine still images for product presentations, marketing materials, and online platforms.
• Ensure high-quality retouching, color correction, and image manipulation to meet brand standards.
• Maintain consistency and ensure color consistency in all images per product across various channels.
• Receive creative direction and make corrections as necessary.
• Perform quality checks on all images and videos produced.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve retouching techniques.

Qualifications

• Visual Arts-related degree and/or experience in a studio environment.
• 3+ years of commercial creative retouching expertise.
• Strong portfolio showcasing before-and-after examples of retouched images.
• Proficiency in industry-standard retouching software such as Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
• Strong understanding of color correction, composition, and image manipulation.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
