English Content Writer and Communications Associate

Standing Together is the largest Jewish-Arab grassroots movement in Israel, with over 5,000 active members and grassroots actions across the country. Standing Together fosters solidarity and partnership between Jewish and Palestinian citizens of Israel through nationwide campaigns and grassroots actions to advance the struggle for peace, equality, social, climate, and economic justice and an end to the occupation.

About the position:

Our international team is growing! We’re looking for a full-time English Content Writer and Communications associate. As a key member of our resource development team, you will be responsible for creating written content for our English social media pages, newsletter, and reports. The role will also include content creation and community management for “Friends of Standing Together,” our global network of Standing Together supporters.

The position is full-time with partial work-from-home options. Our main offices are located in Tel Aviv and Haifa.

Responsibilities:

• Production of written and visual content creation for Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.
• Regular reporting on movement activities for supporters and donors.
• Proofreading and editing content ensuring clarity, accuracy, and consistency in tone and voice.
• Assisting in developing content strategies with our content manager.
• Assisting in the management of Standing Together’s channels of communication, including email and social media.
• Translation of articles and other written materials from Arabic/Hebrew to English.
• Administrative duties relating to communications and resource development.

Requirements:

• Familiarity with Standing Together’s political stances and grassroots work, and ability to express political ideas in writing.
• Previous experience in similar roles and/or grant writing positions.
• Demonstrated ability to write, edit, and publish high-quality written content.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage tight deadlines.
• Competency with Canva or more advanced graphic design software for basic graphics.
• Competency using simple video-editing software (e.g. Capcut).
• Ability to work with a team and independently.
• Passionate about peace, equality, social justice, and ending the occupation!

Language requirements:

• Native-level English - written and spoken
• Hebrew proficiency - required
• Arabic proficiency - advantage
