Financial Economist

The Financial Institutions Group within Mizrahi Tefahot's financial division is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Economist. This role offers a unique and stimulating opportunity to work alongside a team of professionals in a dynamic and challenging environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Conducting detailed analysis of financial statements from foreign banks and financial institutions.

Drafting applications for the approval of credit exposures.

Vigilantly monitoring all exposures to sovereign entities and financial institutions.

Preparing comprehensive reports for management committees and the Board of Directors regarding these exposures, including participation in discussions and presentations.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Comprehensive expertise and proficiency in analyzing financial reports, preferably with a particular emphasis on those related to banks and financial institutions.
• Exceptional reading skills in English at a native or near-native level, complemented by strong academic-level proficiency in writing and speaking.
• Excellent writing skills in Hebrew, demonstrating a high level of expression.
• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Accounting, or Business Administration.
• A curious individual who regularly engages with professional economic literature, and has a genuine interest in macroeconomic events affecting credit risk.
