Job Summary Description / Primary Purpose Of Job

This position supports all the projects developed in the Advanced Features and Tech group by collecting data, planning and running verification and validation tests, and performing data analysis to reach conclusions following tests.

Job Responsibilities/Results

Work with Advanced Development engineers to collect data for new algorithm development o Participate in planning the data collection process.

• Participate in procurement and prototyping for data collection equipment.
• Collect the data in the lab or outside in a variety of environments.
• Document collected data, method, and equipment for future use.
• Analyze and organize the collected data.
  
  

• Plan the testing protocol according to the feature requirements.
• Perform the verification testing in the lab or outside.
• Analyze the data and write a report regarding the feature’s performance.
  
  

• Plan the testing protocol according to the feature requirements.
• Collaborate with Clinical Research on protocol and subject selection.
• Perform the validation testing in the lab or outside.
• Be a point of contact and overview tests performed by the Clinical Research group.

• Ensure all equipment is in working order.
• Keep track of the existing equipment, location, and use.
• Procure new equipment as required.
  
  

• Formal or otherwise technical education in one of the fields: Programming, Hardware, Testing, QA
  
  

• Minimal working experience is required as this is an entry level position
  
  

• Basic programming abilities.
• Data analysis knowledge – an advantage.
• QA experience – an advantage.
• General understanding of technologies used in the electronics / mobile domain
  
  

• Basic programming abilities in Python / C or comparable language.
• Fast and independent learning ability - knows how to get answers and get the job done.
• Able to perform light assembly work and prototyping.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
