Senior Legal Counsel

Do start-up financing events excite you? Series Seed, A, B, C, and pre-IPO? Our Crowd, a leading global venture capital platform -- the most active VC investor in Israel -- is seeking a senior transactional attorney to join the legal team and to take on a wide and varied range of challenges in this field. This is a hybrid position with up to two days in the Jerusalem office.

Responsibilities:

• Independently handle rounds of financing from A to Z
• In-house legal counsel to the various departments at OurCrowd
• Provide ongoing legal counsel on a wide range of commercial issues, such as agreement negotiation with third parties, investors, business partners, suppliers/vendors
• Support the deal and portfolio management teams in addressing all investment transactional and portfolio management work
• Take on new and varied assignments and lead ad-hoc projects initiated by the legal department
• Manage external legal advisors
  
  

• 5-8 years of start-up investments transactional experience at a leading law firm - a must!
• Experience leading investment rounds of financing, preferably representing VCs and/or private equity firms and start-ups, among others
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and simultaneously handle multiple deals
• General knowledge and understanding of U.S. securities regulations impacting investment partnerships and funds – an advantage
• Reliable and efficient team player
• Ready to roll up your sleeves and put in extra effort to address tight deadlines
• Personable – ability to handle significant face-time vis-à-vis internal clients, outside counsel, management of portfolio companies, investors, and others
• Native English speaker or Native-level English, as well as fluent in Hebrew - a must!
• This is a hybrid position with up to 2 days in the Jerusalem office and once a week in the Tel Aviv office.
