Localisation Product Manager (SAP FICO)

Role Description:

• Discover a challenging role as a Legal Compliance Product Manager at WebMentix GmbH.

• Your responsibilities include navigating legal changes for localized countries, collaborating with legal authorities, and leading documentation, JIRA management, and verification processes.
• As a vital link between legal intricacies and product strategy, you'll drive effective communication through the Regulatory Change Manager, keeping stakeholders informed and supported.
• With mandatory product management experience and a deep understanding of localization processes and taxation, you'll be instrumental in capturing and translating customer and partner requirements into actionable strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Gather legal updates for countries localized in SAP Business ByDesign.
• Ensure product compliance with local regulations for SAP customers.
• Identify and assess legal changes requiring adjustments in development or content.
• Liaise with legal authorities to seek clarifications when necessary.
• Prioritize and communicate legal changes to respective CPO/APO.
• Classify legal backlogs into relevant categories such as legal changes, maintenance, or other.
• Documentation and JIRA Management:
• Create LPM JIRA with precise legal specifications in the Market Requirements Document (MRD).
• Collaborate with development and content teams for MRD review and clarification.
• Validate legal changes in the verification tenant (UAT Testing) post-development.
• Report any identified bugs promptly.
• Inform customers about legal changes through the Regulatory Change Manager.
• Keep the status of legal changes up-to-date for customer awareness.
• Validate documentation for legal changes, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
• Clarify appropriate language terms for UI elements related to legal changes during Language Acceptance Test.
• Address and validate customer concerns raised through tickets.
• Collaborate with the development team to resolve concerns promptly.
• Proficiency in the clients language
• Keep content on SAP Business ByDesign Localization Community up-to-date.

Qualifications:

• Product Management Experience:
• Mandatory for this role.
• Deep Knowledge:
• Localization business processes and taxation.
• Regulatory Requirements:
• Experience managing regulatory requirements in a software environment.
• SAP ERP Experience:
• Experience with SAP ERP solutions, preferably SAP Business ByDesign.
• Requirements Capture:
• Ability to capture and productize customer and partner requirements.
• Networking Skills:
• Ability to build and maintain a strong professional network with internal and external stakeholders.

Work Experience:

• Minimum 12+ years related to the above skills.
• ERP Implementation Experience:
• Preferably with SAP financial accounting and logistics software as an implementation consultant, tax consultant/advisor, or product manager.
• Finance Module Expertise:
• In-depth knowledge of customer implementation of Finance modules of any SAP system. Thorough in Statutory reporting, IFRS reporting, and other tax topics in Finance.
• Team Collaboration:
• Strong team player in a multi-cultural environment.

Stakeholder Management:

Ability to build and maintain a strong network across various groups, such as development, field teams, and customers.

Product Strategy:

Proven track record in defining, driving, and executing a successful product strategy.

Issues Handling and Coordination:

Experience in handling customer issues, coordination of teams, and stakeholder management.
