Quality And Environmental Manager

Our Manufacturing Technologies, a leading aerospace and space industry organization, is seeking a dedicated Environmental Quality and Sustainability Manager to join our Aviation Division. The selected candidate will be responsible for various environmental and regulatory aspects, ensuring compliance with standards and leading environmental initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage regulatory compliance related to environmental protection, water authority, civil defense, and interior ministry.
• Conduct regular inspections in the facility to ensure adherence to environmental quality plans.
• Provide ongoing professional guidance to safety advocates and personnel interested in the facility.
• Lead and manage compliance with ISO 14001 standards (Environmental Quality).
• Prepare management surveys in the field of environmental protection.
• Participate in and lead the Safety and Environmental Quality Committee.
• Lead and manage permit requirements in coordination with regulators and facility stakeholders.
• Submit annual Pollution Release and Transfer Reports (PRTR) as required by law.
• Submit annual discharge permit reports as required by law.
• Responsible for hazardous materials.
• Manage operational aspects of wastewater treatment and emphasize metal-containing effluents.
• Prepare industrial risk surveys and build a continuous improvement system.
• Lead and manage deep water and land rehabilitation.

We are looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering/Environmental Science - mandatory.
• 3 years of experience as an environmental engineer - mandatory.
• 2 years of experience as a hazardous materials manager - mandatory.
• 2 years of experience in industrial discharge permits - mandatory.
• 2 years of experience in submitting PRTR reports - mandatory.
• Understanding of treatment facility principles such as scrubbers (alkaline scrubbers, etc.), neutralization, etc. - mandatory.
• Basic understanding of engineering flows and P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagram) - advantage.
• Basic understanding of mechanical systems - advantage.
• 3 years of experience working with ISO 14001 standards - mandatory.
• Experience in deep water and land rehabilitation - advantage.
• Experience as a process engineer - advantage.
• Experience with SAP - advantage.
