R&D Biomedical Engineering Student

We are looking for a talented and motivated final-year BA student in Biomedical Engineering to join our R&D team for a part-time position (with an option to expand to full-time) and participate in the design, development, manufacturing, and testing of medical devices. 

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the R&D team to contribute to the design and development of new medical devices and related manufacturing and testing processes.
• Conduct experiments and tests on prototypes, ensuring they meet performance and safety standards.
• Analyze data and provide insights to improve product design and functionality. 
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of experiments, design changes, and test results.
• Contribute to the preparation of technical documentation and reports. 
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering and production, regulatory affairs, and quality assurance, to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines. 
• Conduct literature reviews to support design decisions and innovation. 
• Assist in ensuring that all R&D activities comply with relevant regulations and standards in the medical device industry.
• Actively participate in troubleshooting and problem-solving activities related to device development.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a BA or MA program in Biomedical Engineering or a related field. 
• Proficient oral and written communication skills in both Hebrew and English.
• Strong understanding of biomedical engineering principles and design concepts. 
• Strong communication skills and teamwork abilities. 
• Ability to work independently and take initiative. 
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 
• Proficient in CAD software for product design (e.g. SolidWorks) – an advantage!
• Proficient in data analysis and the preparation of comprehensive test reports, particularly within the context of medical device trials.
