R&D Director

Role Description: We are assembling a top-notch core team to redefine the cloud security market and as our 1st senior tech lead (except CTO) you will be charge on our full R&D team (BE/FE/Devops/QA) and play a pivotal role in architecting and maintaining the infrastructure that powers our cutting-edge SaaS platform. Responsibilities:

• Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and strategic direction for the R&D teams in the development of our cloud-native cybersecurity SaaS solution.
• Team Management:
• Lead and manage cross-functional engineering teams, including Backend and Frontend engineers.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture, ensuring effective communication and knowledge sharing.
• Product Development: Oversee the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from conceptualization to deployment, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and secure software solutions.
• Hands-on: Actively participate in system architecture design, perform code reviews, and engage in coding tasks.
• Technology Stack:
• Stay abreast of the latest technologies and industry trends in cloud-native development and cybersecurity.
• Make informed decisions on the selection and adoption of relevant technologies for product development.
• Collaboration: Collaborate closely with product management, UX/UI design, and other stakeholders to align development efforts with business goals.
• Agile Methodology: Implement and optimize Agile development methodologies to enhance team productivity and project delivery.
• Talent Building and Development:
• Lead the hiring process of top-notch technologies.
• Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
  
  

• At least 4 years of experience in a leadership role within R&D (either team leader or group leader), preferably in the cybersecurity domain.
• At least 6 years of hands-on experience in modern programming languages (e.g, NodeJS, Python, Go, React).
• Strong technical background in cloud-native development and microservice architecture.
• Experience managing and leading cross-functional engineers (e.g, Frontend, Backend and DevOps).
• In-depth knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
• Familiarity with the latest trends and technologies in cloud security and SaaS solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
