Senior Mobile Designer

Join Gini-Apps as a Senior Mobile Designer, where you will play a pivotal role in collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product, data scientists, business analytics, engineers, and user research, to drive initiatives from conception to execution. Your primary mission will be to elevate the application process through innovative and user-centric UX design.

Responsibilities:

• Customer-Centric Design:
  
  

Develop an in-depth understanding of our customers through thorough research, aligning their challenges and needs with tangible business impat.

• Product Definition and Collaboration:
  
  

Actively participate in the product definition process alongside the Product Manager, Engineering Manager, and User Research, leading the clarification of user tasks and objectives.

• UX Design Development:
  
  

Create user experience design concepts, wireframes, mockups, prototypes, usage scenarios, specifications, and other UX design deliverables for key Gini-Apps initiatives. Craft designs optimized for seamless experiences on both iOS and Android applications.

• Competitive Insight and Innovation:
  
  

Cultivate expert-level knowledge of competitive and complementary products, contributing innovative ideas to the team.

• Design Patterns and Guidelines:
  
  

Demonstrate a sound understanding of current design patterns and guidelines for both mobile and web platforms. Collaborate with peers to ensure visual design mockups align seamlessly with the Gini-Apps design system, offering a coherent cross-device experience.

• Experimentation and Iteration:
  
  

Collaborate with Product Managers to launch experiments and iteratively refine designs. Explore novel approaches to enhance outcome metrics.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, or a related field.
• Over 5 years of experience as a Mobile App Designer, consistently delivering exceptional experiences that captivate and delight users.
• A robust portfolio showcasing expertise in both UX and UI, illustrating the symbiotic relationship between form and function through visual skills and design thinking.
• Proficiency in UX Design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or similar, for creating mobile app designs and prototypes.
• Familiarity with Adobe After Effects for creating basic animations to elevate the UX of our App.
• Strong presentation skills to effectively communicate and advocate for design decisions.
