Job Description

The group develops and implements wireless technologies, using Multi-Comm Wireless solutions in integrated products that enable smart and easy use of Intel products' wide range of applications. We are working on delivering world-class wireless connectivity technologies such as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. As a Lab Network Student Engineers, you will support the lab engineers daily tasks, design, implement, maintain, and support our growing network infrastructure. You will be part of a lab technologies engineering team that is responsible for designing and developing scalable, maintainable, highly available network architectures that meet the business objectives. Lab Engineer Technologies Team Member Responsibilities: 1. Ensuring secure and stable lab networks connectivity and testing network protocols. 2. Configuring and installing various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, access-points, firewalls). 3. Performing network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations. 4. Select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the company's security team 5. Monitoring network engineering performance and ensure system availability and reliability 24/7/365. 6. Enhancing network security while meet organization regulations and policies. 7. Running diagnostic tests and performing repairs, as well as developing backup, archiving, and data retrieval procedures. 8. Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution

Qualifications

  • Student for BSc/MSc Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical engineering, Computer engineering, Information systems.
  • Minimum of two years of study remaining for graduation.
  • Availability to work 4 days on site in Jerusalem.
  • Experience as Labs/IT/EC technician - an advantage.
  • Experience in networks operations - an advantage.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Availability to perform network repairs outside of business hours.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Customer oriented.
  • Highly independent.
