UNIX Database Administrator

A leading company in Herzliya is looking for an experiences Applicative and Infrastructure DBA Administrator to join the DBA team dealing with the company's core systems, development and management of the databases.

👉The location is accessible to public transportation, train 10 minutes walk or shuttles to the train.

What's in the job?:

✅Management and maintenance of applications on UNIX servers and working with the company's databases.

✅Designing indexes, ongoing maintenance of the database.

✅Writing SQL queries and performing data research.

✅Close work with development, infrastructure and QA personnel.

Requirements:

🔹At least 2 years of experience in managing and maintaining applications on UNIX servers and working with databases - UNIX is a must!

🔹Experience with LINUX systems.

🔹Experience writing scripts in Script Shell, python, SQL or other language.

Advantages:

🔸Experience in database development, especially SQL SERVER - An Advantage

🔸Knowledge in index planning, ongoing maintenance of the database, knowledge of performance tuning and query optimization - An Advantage

🔸Experience or knowledge in the fields of system and networking - An Advantage

🔸Knowledge of data analysis systems and Big Data - An Advantage
