Job Overview:
Cardo Systems, the global market leader in the field of wireless communication systems for Powersports & Outdoor helmets, is seeking a versatile and experienced Outbound Product Manager to join our team, focusing on OEM projects and Data-as-a-Service products. The role includes sales and business development, requiring the candidate to feel comfortable making compelling sales pitches to potential clients. The ability to leverage data monetization strategies will be a key factor in achieving success in this multifaceted position.
Full-time position in a hybrid model (from the company’s offices at Raanana/from home), reporting to the VP PM.
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Product Strategy and Development:
- Contribute to the development of the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with market demands and business goals.
- Write detailed PRDs and align R&D, Marketing, and Ops on each project’s needs.
- Close collaboration with the Inbound PM and other internal teams to communicate product requirements and ensure technical feasibility.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and customer support teams to ensure a unified product development and messaging approach.
2. Sales and Business Development:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to grow our data-based products’ revenues.
- Identify potential clients for data-based products through market research and analysis.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the product’s value proposition.
3. Data as a Service (DaaS) Expertise:
- Make data-based services a comprehensive solution we can sell as a product.
- Collaborate with technical teams to explore opportunities for monetizing data assets.
- Leverage your experience in selling data as a service to enhance product offerings.
4. Market Analysis:
- Stay updated about industry trends, competitor products, and market demands.
- Use market insights to refine product positioning and enhance sales strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, computer science, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
- Proven experience in both inbound and outbound product management for at least 5 years.
- Proven experience in sales or business development for at least 2 years.
- Working with data-as-a-service products – a big advantage
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Comfortable with making persuasive sales pitches
- Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
