R&D Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities:

Develop new medical devices as well as improve existing designs.

Design and test new product prototypes to meet design specifications.

Manage/initiate integration, performance, and usability tests as part of product development.

Generate DMR (drawings, routing cards, work instructions, material specifications).

Perform verification and validation testing (V&V).

Support transfer-to-production activities and design production tools.

Support ECO processes.

Support regulatory submissions.

Learn and implement new technologies and manufacturing processes.

Work collaboratively with team members and colleagues from other departments in the company (manufacturing, quality, regulation, clinical, and sales).

Requirements:

M.Sc. / B.Sc. in Mechanical engineering from Technion or Ben Gurion University.

3-5 years of experience as an R&D Engineer in the medical devices industry.

Full control and proven experience with Solidworks.

High-level English skills – reading, writing, and speaking.

Strong technical skills and a hands-on approach.
