Technical Writer II

We are looking for a Technical Writer to join our Technical Writing team who will be responsible for producing documentation that contributes to the success of our products. As part of our technical writing team you will work collaboratively with developers, quality engineers, product managers, and usability experts across the organization to make our products easier to use. You’ll Get To

• Partner with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements
• Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience
• Write easy to understand user interface text, online help and developer guides
• Create tutorials to help end-users use a variety of applications and tools
• Analyze existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities
• Create and maintain the information architecture
• Other duties as assigned
  
  

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum 3 years of proven experience in technical writing
• Must be an extraordinary researcher with a love for processes and continuous improvement
• Independent and highly motivated learner
• Ability to recognize when you don't know something (that's a positive thing!)
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and transform them into easily understandable text and pictures
• Excellent written skills in English
• Experience or familiarity with docs-as-code; a plus
