Lightbits’ mission is to lead the cloud-native data center transformation by delivering scalable and efficient software defined storage that is easy to consume. Founded in 2016, Lightbits brings the agility of hyperscale storage to private clouds and edge clouds. We are backed by strategic investors including Cisco Investments, Dell Technologies Capital, Intel Capital, Lenovo and Micron, as well as top investors and VCs.

We are looking for an experienced, bold and hands-on leader for our product management team. The position can be based in Israel or California.

In this role, the Director Product will focus on building next-generation storage solutions for private, edge and public clouds through analysis and understanding of targeted markets, trends, new technology, customer business issues and the competitive environment.

The Director of Product works closely with product development to prioritize requirements, establish our roadmap, define and create ecosystem plugins, and validate product definitions with customers. This entails a firm understanding of the technology, business case (current and potential revenue) and the necessary competitive positioning.

Responsibilities will include:

• Drive product strategy across public/private clouds and lead roadmap prioritization
• Maintain technical depth on Lightbits while guiding support for customer use cases
• Direct go-to-market activities: messaging, sales enablement, events, analyst engagement
• Gather customer insights and market analytics to feed product decisions
• Collaborate across R&D, marketing, sales, services departments
• Shape product vision leveraging customer insights, market signals, and cross-functional team perspectives to craft differentiated strategies grounded in real-world data.
• Promote and extend Lightbits solutions to partners and integration ecosystem
• Develop channel initiatives, enable field teams to support partner services Oversee intuitive, customer-centric UI/UX design aligned to seamless user experience

Qualifications:

●     10+ years of hands on experience in enterprise or Cloud IT experience

●     5+ years of product management experience

●     Prior experience managing storage or infrastructure and saas storage products,

●     Technical proficiency in storage or data center technology

●     Customer facing experience

●     Bachelor's Degree in STEM. MBA preferred.

●     Demonstrated ability to work in diverse team based environment

●     Strong verbal and written communication skills

●     Strong business acumen
