We are seeking a Senior UX Researcher to play a pivotal role in shaping our product strategy and delivering exceptional experiences to our diverse user community.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with design, product, and engineering teams to gain profound insights into our users' needs, identify market opportunities, and contribute to our business value. Your responsibilities will include conducting primary research, advocating for user-centered design practices, and fostering a culture of research across Artlist.io.

As the first UX Researcher at Artlist.io, you have a unique opportunity to pioneer and establish an innovative research practice within the company. This role isn't just about conducting research; it's about shaping the future of user experience understanding at Artlist.io.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive actionable change and foster a shared understanding of our customers.
• Utilize a diverse set of generative and evaluative research methods, including user interviews, usability testing, surveys, contextual inquiry, quantitative analytics, and more.
• Work closely with product managers, designers, developers, and analysts to mentor and/or partner on research initiatives.
• Bring a user-centered approach to a variety of projects, spanning usability improvements, the creation of new experiences, exploration of new markets, and more.
• Build the research capabilities of our teams, enabling them to conduct effective research independently and learn from past insights.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of professional UX research experience.
• Background in collaborating with cross-functional, agile product teams.
• Proven track record of research findings directly influencing positive change.
• Expertise in using a variety of research methods and the ability to discern when and how to apply them.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to distill complex ideas to their essence.
• Native English speaker - Must.
