**Job Title: EMG-Soft Embedded Linux Developer**

**Job Overview:**

EMG-Soft is seeking a skilled and experienced Embedded Linux Developer to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing embedded systems with a focus on Linux environments. As a key contributor to our development team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining software solutions for embedded systems.

**Responsibilities:**

1. **Embedded Linux Development:**

  - Design, develop, and maintain embedded systems software with expertise in Linux-based platforms.

  - Implement and optimize device drivers, kernel modules, and system-level software for various embedded applications.

2. **Collaboration:**

  - Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, firmware developers, and quality assurance, to deliver integrated and high-performance embedded solutions.

3. **Board Support Package (BSP) Development:**

  - Create and maintain Board Support Packages for various embedded platforms.

  - Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure seamless integration between software and hardware components.

4. **Real-time Systems:**

  - Develop software for real-time systems, ensuring the reliability and responsiveness of embedded applications.

5. **Customization and Optimization:**

  - Customize and optimize Linux kernels and filesystems for specific embedded applications and hardware constraints.

6. **Debugging and Troubleshooting:**

  - Identify and resolve software defects, compatibility issues, and system-level challenges.

  - Conduct thorough debugging and troubleshooting to ensure the stability of embedded systems.

7. **Documentation:**

  - Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, user guides, and release notes.

8. **Security Considerations:**

  - Implement security measures and best practices to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of embedded systems.

**Qualifications:**

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

- Proven experience in embedded software development with expertise in Linux environments.

- Proficiency in C/C++ programming languages.

- Solid understanding of embedded systems architecture and real-time operating systems.

**Preferred Skills:**

- Experience with Yocto Project or other embedded Linux build systems.

- Knowledge of networking protocols and communication interfaces.

- Familiarity with version control systems and issue-tracking tools.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
