Israel Oceanographic and Limnological Research (IOLR) is a national research institution established in 1967 with the mission of generating knowledge for sustainable use and protection of Israel's marine, coastal and freshwater resources. IOLR conducts scientific research in the fields of oceanography, limnology, mariculture and marine biotechnology. The institute is located in the Galil Tachton Regional Council in Israel.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Research Assistant at IOLR. The Research Assistant will be responsible for conducting scientific research, performing laboratory tasks, data analysis, and communication with team members.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and research skills
• Experience in laboratory skills and data analysis
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and protocols
• Master's degree in Marine Science, Oceanography, Limnology, or a related field
• Fluency in Hebrew and English
• Experience in research related to marine or freshwater sciences is a plus
