Job Description:

The Manufacturing Leader will be responsible for the day-to-day production operations, including adherence to procedures, schedule and productivity, yield evaluation and continuous improvement. The role will also be responsible for technical aspects of the production line performance and escalate issues that require further investigation to the engineering team.

The main task is to allow production of high - quality goods efficiently using GMP, Lean and other cost-effective methods:

• Ability to work with production employees to direct activities, priorities and identify continuous improvement opportunities
• Monitor actual production processes against established Work Instructions and correct gaps as needed; Write and update production Work Instructions and conduct periodic review of said procedures
• Problem-solve initial production issues utilizing sound root cause methodology and escalate investigation to next level of failure analysis
• Manage line improvement such as scrap reduction, assembly and testing yield in manufacturing processes
• Main production point of contact to other departments Engineering department, R&D and QA for NCs, MRB and CAPAs
• Complete other tasks as assigned by the Director of Operations
  
  

• Education: BSc. Degree in Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering or equivalent
• Job Skills:
• 1-3 years of Experience of discrete manufacturing processes, experience in a medical devices industry - an advantage
• Familiarity with FDA and ISO 13485 medical device regulations – an advantage
• Familiarity with Design for Manufacturability and Assembly (DFM / DFA) is desired.
• Good analytical skills, self-starter with drive, focus, and initiative.
• Excellent Problem-solving methodologies grasp is a must, including 5-Why, Fishbone, Statistical process control and critical thinking
• Excellent organization, presentation skills at all levels
• Language skills: Good English, both written and verbal
• Personality:

• Good communication and interpersonal skills across levels (from production employees to Operations and R&D staff)
• An ability of technical leadership in matrix and changing environment.
