Director of Product Management

We're looking for a talented product director to lead the development of one of our key business products. This is a highly influential role that significantly impacts the success and roadmap of the product.

As the Director of Product Management for the Business Solution Unit, your primary mission is to lead the strategic vision and execution of our product portfolio, specifically focused on developing tools tailored for business solutions within the Viber app. This leadership position requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in product management, a deep understanding of business solutions, and the ability to lead and inspire a cross-functional team to empower Viber for business solutions through innovative digital tools.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership for Business Solutions on Viber:

• Define the product direction and strategy for product areas within Viber for Business
• Collaborate with senior leadership to define and execute a tailored product roadmap that aligns with the Business Solution Unit's goals and the unique needs of businesses.
  
  

Team Management for Business Empowerment:

• Lead and mentor a team of product managers dedicated to creating solutions that enhance the Viber experience for businesses.
  
  

Customer Facing / Sales Interface responsibility:

• Engage with customers, partners, and sales team to understand business needs, pain points, and priorities to inform product strategy and provide transparency into roadmaps/managing expectations
  
  

Product Lifecycle Management for Viber Business Tools:

• Oversee the entire lifecycle of Viber business tools, from ideation and concept development to launch and ongoing optimization.
  
  

Market Analysis and Customer Insights for Business Integration:

• Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities specific to small businesses using Viber.
• Utilize data analysis techniques to gather and analyze customer feedback from small business users, incorporating insights into product planning and development processes.
  
  

Financial Accountability with a Focus on Viber Business Solutions:

• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to small business solutions within Viber to assess product performance and take corrective actions as necessary.
  
  

Stakeholder Collaboration within the Viber Ecosystem

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in people management and a total of 8+ years of product management, consulting, co-founder, or technical experience
• Proven experience in a leadership role within product management, preferably with a focus on developing tools for small businesses
• Strong understanding of market trends, competition, and the unique challenges and opportunities for small businesses within the Viber app
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across different teams
• Demonstrated success in developing and executing product strategies that drive business growth, specifically within the context of messaging applications
• Experience in data analysis and utilizing key performance indicators (KPIs) for monitoring product performance and user engagement
• Ability to collaborate, solve ambiguous problems, and think innovatively
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field. A master's degree or Ph.D. in a technology or business-related field is a plus
• Experience in SMB, B2B, and API messaging solutions domains is a plus
