Mechanical Engineer

A rapidly growing global organization in the field of Ag-Tech is currently seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer for a captivating and impactful role in their Robotics Team!

Responsibilities:

- Leading the development of mechanical subsystems from conceptualization to production, including design, troubleshooting, and delivery.

- Conducting tests and experiments.

- Investigating and resolving ongoing product issues.

- Overseeing subcontractors in design and manufacturing.

- Hands-on involvement, including the assembly of initial prototypes and on-site investigations.

Required Expertise and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from a reputable university or college.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical design for multidisciplinary projects.

- Proficiency in CAD software (preferably SolidWorks).

- Proven track record in designing precise motion systems and mechanisms, particularly in the field of robotics.

- Familiarity with designing mechanical components for harsh environments, such as Agriculture, Marine, Military, and heavy industry (a plus).

- Experience in analytical and numerical analysis of systems (advantageous), including finite element analysis with SolidWorks simulation.

- Ability to write requirements and test documents (a plus).

- Familiarity with working in a PDM (Product Data Management) environment (a plus).

- Knowledge of manufacturing technologies, particularly accurate milling and metal casting (a plus).

- Experience in the design-to-production transition process (a plus).

- Knowledge of designing parts for injection plastic molds (a plus).

- Experience with plastic packaging of hardware products for wet environments (a plus).

- Fluency in both Hebrew and English.
