R&D Team Leader

Mysticsense is a high-tech company that develops marketplace platforms for services that can be provided online, and it is a leading company in the field of online psychics and advisors.

We are now seeking a hands-on R&D Team Leader, this role involves leading a team of developers and directly

contributing to our development process. Join us and utilize your expertise to enhance the

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of our products. Manage and recruit team members. Set weekly/monthly goals.
• Own your domain to ensure code quality, performance, and scalability of our products.
• Proven ability to design, deliver, and execute end-to-end solutions, production-ready code on schedule and actively participate in code reviews.
• Good understanding of software development processes: agile methodology, roadmap building, code reviews.
• Examining technological solutions and architecture and determining the appropriate solutions for the organization.
• The position is 70% management and 30% hands-on.

What we seek:

• 5 or more years of software development experience using Python (specifically using Django) and JavaScript.
• 2 or more years of experience in software development team leading.
• Proven experience in leading development teams while still being involved in hands-on development.
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues that may arise during development.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills, as you may be working on a team with other developers and researchers.
• Proficient in integrating various third-party APIs, with adaptability to swiftly learn and implement new ones as required.
• Knowledge of using SQL, particularly MySQL and AWS services.
• Familiarity with cloud architecture, EKS, LB, RDS, ElastiCache and Terraform
• Proven ability to design, deliver, and execute end-to-end solutions.

A plus if you have:

• Familiarity with security best practices in software development.
