Role Description

The role is intended for both juniors and experienced FinOps eng.

This is a full-time on-site role for a FinOps Engineer located in Tel Aviv District, Israel. The FinOps Engineer will develop and implement FinOps strategies, optimize cloud infrastructure, manage cloud usage and spend, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. The FinOps Engineer will also monitor and report on financial KPIs, identify cost and usage trends, and proactively recommend cost-saving initiatives and efficiencies.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT/Cloud financial management.
• knowledge in one or more of the leading public clouds: AWS, Azure, GCP
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to develop and implement FinOps strategies, policies, and procedures
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Security classification/Willingness to undergo a classification process - must!
• Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or Google Cloud Certified - advantage.
• Experience in finance/technological process in the Israeli defense sector (Ministery of Defense, IDF, Defense industries, etc.) - advantage.
