Nova's Engineering Department is seeking for an experienced Optical engineer to join our HW NPI Team.
You will be focusing the manufacturability and sustainability of our multidisciplinary products, encompassing Electro Optics & Opto-Mechanics.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Conduct Lab tests for root cause analysis, Optic Modules qualifications, and on-going support to Production.
- Manufacturing Engineering for existing products, including ECO, EOL, Cost reduction, Documentation updates, Work Procedures, Design testing Jigs, Failure Analysis, etc.
- Tech management of Nova’s Optic suppliers
- Engineering support to R&D (Design reviewer), Production (Jigs Maintenance), Service, Materials & Logistics (EOL alternatives), Purchasing
Requirements:
- B.A Physics expertise in Optics or B.Sc. in Electro-Optics
- 2 Years experience in a similar role
- Hands-on lab experience and test setups
- Experience in Working with optics supplier and sourcing optic components
- Proficiency in data analysis (MATLAB/Phyton)
- Hebrew and English proficiency
