UltraCruise is a driver-assistance technology that enables hands-free driving in 95% percent of all driving scenarios. A door-to-door hands-free driving technology that will enable GM’s goal of zero crashes, zero emissions and zero congestion.

Ultracruise is part of SDV - ‘Software Defined Vehicle’ group that is developing a new vehicle intelligence platform whose features and functions are primarily enabled through software. This is a significant part of the ongoing transformation of vehicles from being mainly hardware-based to a software-centric electronic device on wheels

UltraCruise IL group is focusing on research and development of advanced technologies to enable brake through applications for the future of mobility.

We are looking for an agile, fast learning and curious backend developer for our debug and visualization tools team for the autonomous vehicle project!

What will you do?

• In this role you will develop web based products and services to support the Ultra Cruise project
• Design new services in a K8S environment
• integrate with external modules.
• Be responsible for E2E implementation of new features.
• Support development teams and assist with fixing system issues on the vehicle using our products
• Collaborate with teams from IL, US and Europe
  
  

Additional Job Description

What are we looking for?

Over 3 years experience with Python 3.x development

Over 2 years experience in Node.JS development

Working on linux and windows environments

Experience with MongoDB

C++ experience - advantage

Python Data Analysis Library (Pandas) - advantage

Experience with sensors signals visualization - advantage
