For a key Institutional Engineering company operating in the construction of large metropolitan infrastructures, We are looking for a Scada and Cyber Expert (Urban Transport Systems and Railways).
Lead Scada and Cyber Security Engineer is responsible for Developing, deploying and maintaining a SCADA, EMS (Energy Management System), ADMS (Advanced Distribution Management System), distribution automation systems and telecommunications projects in the Metro Projects together with cyber security design, configuration, implementation, assurance and training in the cluster.
The selected candidate will collaborate within the Mobility Systems Department, reporting to the in line manager, mainly dealing with the design, technical verification of projects, field activities and factory tests in the following specialized areas, applied to urban transport systems (subways, light railways, tramways) and railways, with – inter alia – the following responsibilities:
· provides lead Scada and Cyber security engineering expertise and support for rail & metro projects (interfacing with Automatic Fare Control, Lift & Escalators, SCADA/BMS, TVS/VAC);
· act as primary expert on Scada and Cyber security, including designing and reviewing, fault tracing and investigating, determining of corrective actions and implementation thereof;
· creates/review Scada and Cyber security design documents (e.g. design plans, piece part/component level drawings, wiring schematics, logic drawings, assembly and integration drawings, interface drawings, etc.); engineering analyses and reports; test plans, test documents and final test reports; manufacturing instructions and drawings; assembly, installation and integration documents and drawings for various interfacing disciplines inter alia electrical and electromechanical equipment and systems;
· Review any RFQ’s that touch on Cyber Security or could potentially have an impact on Cyber Security. List recommendations on how to proceed and list any clarifications or exceptions we might take to the bid concerning Cyber Security, using Owner Requirements High Level Policies, coordinating with relevant teams (Grid Solutions, Energy, Legal);
· Proposing appropriate cyber security solutions to customer referring to customer specification ensuring core system (DS Agile, GPG, CCS, CIC etc) compatibility;
· Creating an architecture reference that could be used for Inquiry to Order (ITO) proposals that require Cyber Security;
· Creating the Security Assurance Plan (SAP) for all projects which require it, be able to discuss it with relevant teams in Client’s Representative and with the Customer;
· Creating a BOM template for Cyber security devices using a standardized format across GA;
· Creating a template that could be used for estimating costs associated with implementing cyber security (including parts, labor and testing of cyber architecture);
· Creating the Functional Design Spec (FDS) and all documents for the cyber security system which would also define the architecture being implemented. In conjunction work with other internal and external entities to ensure the overall Cyber security design is cohesive;
· Conduct the FAT and SAT relating to Cyber Security. Detail on how the security of the system will be tested. Possibly help come up with a list of subcontractors that could be used;
· Develop cyber security assurance and maintenance plan for all installed base and its execution.; align with core system team to implement and test cybersecurity during internal validation for system/solutions;
· monitors performance of work to ensure project is meeting designated milestones, on schedule, and in compliance with contract requirements and related industry electrical design, analysis, and maintenance standards;
· prepare railway systems procurement/installation specifications; expedite railway systems procurement logistics and coordination with suppliers
Ideal candidate profile:
Training: Master's Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Telecommunication Engineering or equivalent
Professional experience: professional experience of at least 10 years in Engineering Companies or Design Firms, for activities similar to those described above
Language skills: mastery of the English language is required, with excellent ability to read technical texts and a good ability to write and express oneself. Knowledge of other languages is also an element of evaluation.
Skills: predisposition to interpersonal relationships, attitude to teamwork, dynamism, autonomy, initiative and tenacity. Excellent knowledge of rail, metro or related project design, project, design assurance and safety management principals, specifically on Scada and Cyber Security, electrical and electromechanical disciplines and codes. Excellent knowlege of principal specific software for BIM and electrical and electromechanical calculation and about international technical codes and regulations. Working in multi-disciplinary teams is an integral component of this role.
