Quality Engineer

About the role 

We are currently looking for a QA engineer with a strong background in mobile application testing and automation to help us in the development of next generation products.

As a QA engineer you will: 

• Perform thorough manual testing of both front-end and back-end components of our mobile and web applications.
• Identify, analyze, and document defects, questionable functions, errors, and inconsistencies in software program functions, outputs, online screens, and content.
• Establish and implement quality assurance and compliance processes for new and existing applications.
• Design and execute SQL queries for data validation and test execution.
• Work collaboratively with the development team to ensure consistent project execution.
• Identify opportunities for automation within software processes.

Essential Skills:

• 3-5 years of professional experience in QA, with a focus on both front-end and back-end testing of a consumer product.
• Strong experience with SQL and database testing.
• Previous experience in a startup environment, adaptable to rapid changes and growth.
• In-depth understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and software lifecycle processes.
• Experience in developing and executing comprehensive test plans and cases.
• An analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude.
• Exceptional communication and teamwork skills.
• Passion for football and enthusiasm for sports technology.

Desired Skills:

• Experience in Python and/or Java.
• Football fan.
