We are a startup, based in Raanana & Jerusalem, born and raised inside Elbit Systems and now flies on its own. We are looking for an experienced Backend team leader to join our fast-moving company.

Synch is a new approach to enterprise communication. It is a life-saving product, engineered out of necessity during the Corona period and now used by United Hatzalah, hospitals, seaports, critical infrastructures and more in Israel and around the world.

Synch is a solution for immediate and smart communication, that enables immediate and secure communication for enterprises and SMBs. It offers PTT communication over common cellular network (PoC), enhanced with Voice, Video and Map activated services, integrated into the business operational flows, thus bringing people and devices (IoT) into group collaboration.

About the position

We're looking for highly skilled backend team leader who is passionate about leveraging cutting-edge technology to create impactful applications. As part of a team of experts, you'll play a crucial role of leading our backend development. Responsibilites

• Lead the backend development team to deliver high-quality, scalable and reliable applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners, designers, and back-end developers, to ensure high quality development that leads to high quality products.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Push the application development forward, by embracing new technologies and libraries.

Job Qualifications:

• 5+ years of combined experience in Java & Javascript.
• 2 years of experience leading a team.
• Experience in developing NodeJS based services.
• Experience in MySQL.
• Experience developing under a micro-services architecture
• Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality software in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Advantages:

• Knowledge of container orchestration technologies, such as Docker and/or Kubernetes.
• Experience in developing services for cloud environments, preferably AWS.
• Experience with MongoDB
• Familiarity with the Spring Framework.
• Experience/Familiarity with VoIP technology
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
