UVeye is looking for a talented and experienced VP R&D. In this role you will be a part of the management team, lead all research and development activities in UVeye, define the R&D strategy and methodologies and optimize the work processes and efficiency.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

• End-to-End responsibility for the company's R&D vision, performance, and deliverables.
• Lead, motivate and mentor a global multidisciplinary R&D department of Software, Hardware and Algorithm teams and managers.
• Align R&D deliverables with UVeye's business goals and objectives to ensure the effective execution of projects
• Define the R&D team growth plan and strategy.
• Be a part of UVeye’s management team.

Here’s what we're looking for:

• At least 5 years of experience as a VP R&D (or equivalent)
• Experience from global tech companies that specialize in computer vision, and are cloud-based - must
• Experience in leading a large R&D multidisciplinary group (at least 50 people, including software and algorithms engineers).
• Experience in building high-performance, fault-tolerant and large scale systems.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines and to make progress with multiple projects and functional priorities simultaneously
• Excellent leadership, communication and collaboration skills

It’s an advantage if you have:

• Prior experience as an Algorithm Developer
• Experience leading Hardware teams
