Navin, an innovative company in the field of Indoor navigation, is recruiting a mapper for the mapping team.

At Navin, we develop deep tech for our indoor navigation platform.

Our vision is to enable navigation in any public building and campus where there is no GPS eyesight and existing solutions do not work.

The role

Mapping (GIS) of public buildings (Boots on the ground) using the company's technological systems, quality testing of the mapping, and the information that appears on the map.

The role incorporates elements of software testing (QA), debugging, user experience, mechanisms, etc.

Responsibility

• Creating maps of buildings and campuses from A to Z.
• Collect electromagnetic signals and match them to the map to create a geographical location.
• Map content and functionality Q.A.
• User experience testing.

Requirements

• Technological approach and ability to learn to work with new systems.
• Ability to work independently and to go down to details.
• Spatial perception, orientation skills.
• Willingness to perform tasks throughout Israel.
• A soul player who wants to take his/hers first steps in the startup ecosystem.

Full-time position

Place of work: 70% out of office / 30% in office. (Office at Kfar Saba).

The job of an indoor mapper typically involves the following responsibilities:

• Data Collection: Indoor mappers gather data about the indoor spaces they are mapping. This can involve physical measurements, laser scanning, photogrammetry, or utilizing existing data sources like building management systems.
• Map Creation: Using specialized software such as CAD (Computer-Aided Design) or BIM (Building Information Modeling), indoor mappers create digital representations of the indoor spaces.
