Senior Devops

I'm Looking for a Senior Devops Engineer for one of my amazing Clients! an innovative network security solutions provider.

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products.

Responsibilities:

• Orchestrating cloud deployment and resources to ensure efficient and scalable infrastructure.
• Developing and maintaining monitoring and alerting infrastructure to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Designing and implementing CI/CD processes for continuous integration and deployment of software applications.
• Troubleshooting system problems, investigating issues, and providing effective resolutions to minimize downtime.
• Developing and managing a containerized production environment using technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm.
• Defining and enforcing DevOps standards, best practices, and procedures across the organization.
• Providing ad-hoc custom solutions to meet the technical needs of other teams.
• Supervising the production environment, monitoring performance, and taking proactive measures to optimize system efficiency.
• Acting as a resource and mentor for engineers with less DevOps experience, providing guidance and support.

Requirements:

• BSc in Computer Science or a related technical field (or equivalent work experience).
• 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or Software Engineer.
• 3+ years of experience in managing a cloud environment, Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, and tools - preferred.
• 2+ years of experience with containerized environments and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm.
• 2+ years of experience using CI/CD tools for automated software delivery.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions such as Terraform or Pulumi.
• Experience with cloud cost optimization techniques and strategies.
• Experience with ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) for log analysis and monitoring.
• Experience with ArgoCD for continuous deployment and GitOps workflows.
• Experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL or similar.
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible or similar.
• Familiarity with version control systems like GitLab for source code management.
• Deep knowledge of Python, Golang, or similar programming languages for scripting and automation.
• Extensive experience with Linux operating system and proficiency in bash scripting.
• Demonstrated understanding of networking and security concepts.
• Proven ability to take initiative, show ownership, and focus on continuous improvement.
• Strong problem-solving attitude and ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues.
