Our outstanding BI Design team at Bigbrain is looking for a creative, innovative, technical, and impact-driven team lead. We are focusing on providing data solutions across all domains on Monday.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of BI developers, assigning tasks, setting goals, and ensuring effective collaboration within the team.

Your role will involve collaborating with a variety of stakeholders to understand their data requirements, identify opportunities, and translate them into technical specifications, models and designs, and an architecture for BI systems.

The ideal candidate must have a blend of technical expertise and effective leadership qualities, a comprehensive understanding of business, oversee and own the professional and personal development of the team, a strategic mindset coupled with the ability to align BI initiatives with organizational goals, excellent attention to detail, analytical and technical skills, and experience with data modeling. The candidate will be self-driven, charismatic, independent, able to coordinate with many different teams and groups and handle ambiguity well within the organization.

About The Role

• Collaborating with other teams, such as the business/product analytics team and BI engineering to align goals and ensure smooth integration and adoption of the BI solutions
• Strong experience in BI development and data modeling, using tools such as SQL, DBT, Airflow, Tableau, or other related technologies
• Excellent understanding of data warehouse concepts, ETL processes, and data integration techniques.
• Solid leadership and project management skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and derive meaningful insights
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with business stakeholders and effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical users
  
  

• Passionate for data
• Strong leadership and management skills (2-5 years experience). In a fast-paced work environment, you will be responsible for leading a team, delegating tasks, providing guidance, and managing priorities.
• Communication Skills - the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
• Have strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify data issues, troubleshoot technical challenges, and derive insights from complex data sets
• Fully proficient in SQL.
• Familiar with DWH concepts and know how to design and model tables.
• Experienced with ETL tools and methodologies (Airflow etc).
• A Doer, biased for action and not taking an advisory role. Know how to translate challenges into actions.
