Job Description:

a. Maintenance, operation and building experiment systems for the department’s teaching and research labs.

b. Providing assistance and guidance to students in operating laboratory equipment, workshop equipment and other mechanical equipment.

c. Providing assistance in the development, building and updating of new experiment systems for teaching and research.

d. Providing assistance and technical guidance to students working on final projects and as part of research for higher degrees.

e. Purchasing equipment, establishing contact with suppliers and the purchasing and supply department, handling inventory of disposable and non-disposable equipment.

f. Writing instructions and work procedures pertaining to the laboratories’ activity.

g. Responsible for the implementation of safety procedures as part of his/her activity in compliance with the provisions of the law.

h. Perform other assignments according to the supervisor’s instructions.

Job Qualifications:

a. Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, preferably a master's degree.

b. Five years’ experience in the relevant fields.

c. Work experience in the field of mechanical design and use of drawing and modeling software.

d. Technical experience in planning, building and assembling mechanical/electromechanical systems.

e. Preferably with teaching experience.
