Cyber Security Researcher

Job Title: Senior Security Researcher

a leading cybersecurity company with hundreds of customers, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated senior Security Researcher to lead our’s security research practice. As a Senior Security Researcher , you will identify and analyze emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and attack techniques. You will work closely with our product management, product development and operational teams to enhance the security of our products and customers. This is an individual contributor position with an excellent opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research and make a significant impact in the field of cybersecurity.

Responsibilities:

1.Conduct in-depth research to identify and analyze the latest security threats,

vulnerabilities, and attack techniques.

2. Analyze traffic and attack information from our hundreds of customers, to identify

opportunities to strengthen Reblaze’s security policies.

3. Keep up-to-date with emerging trends, standards and best practices in the cybersecurity

landscape and contribute to the development of innovative security solutions.

4. Perform penetration testing to identify opportunities to improve Reblaze’s security

policies.

5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective security

measures.

6. Issue security updates for Reblaze’s customers and monitor their impact.

7. Help Support in responding to attacks, understand them and create relevant protections.

8. Act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and support to other teams within the

organization.

Qualifications:

1. 5+ years of proven experience in web application security - mandatory.

2. Strong understanding of web application security, computer networks, protocols,

systems security and cloud security.

3. Solid knowledge of common attack vectors, security vulnerabilities, threat modeling and

advanced threat-hunting methodologies.

4. Experience with security assessment tools and techniques, including vulnerability.

scanners, penetration testing frameworks, and network analysis tools.

5. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related

field.

6. Knowledge of common hacking tools and techniques.

7. Experience with translating findings into actionable detection signatures and other

security policy recommendations - mandatory.

8. Experience in analyzing cyberattacks.

9. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C/C++, or Java.

10. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively.

11. Self-motivated and able to work independently, and collaboratively in a team

environment.

12. Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, OSCP) are a plus.
