Senior Tech Lead

We're seeking a skilled tech lead to join our team, master various backend technologies and build high-performance, scalable systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design and architect highly scalable, performant backend systems leveraging the latest functional programming principles.
• Quickly learn and connect all dots of complex products and systems.
• Lead the development team, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and code reviews.
• Foster a learning culture where developers can grow their functional programming skills and expertise.
• Evangelize functional programming practices across the organization, collaborating with other teams for seamless integration.
• Stay at the forefront of functional programming advancements, researching and proposing new technologies and techniques.
• Identify and address technical challenges, optimizing code for maintainability and efficiency.
• Contribute to building and enhancing our CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure.
• Partner with product and stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into elegant functional solutions.

Requirements:

• Fully hands-on leadership experience in a technical context, effectively motivating and mentoring developers.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, fostering a positive and productive team environment.
• Responsible and accountable developer who is willing to play a significant role to ensure production readiness and uptime at any time.
• Experience working with our tech stack (Redis, MySQL, AWS, Git, MongoDB, Kafka) is a plus.

• Strong DevOps skills while mastering either Linux or BSD-based systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to share your knowledge and passion within the company.
• Extensive experience and mastery of functional programming concepts, preferably Scala.
