Head of Product – Compliance

WAY2VAT is a fast-growing Fintech company, we provide automated VAT\GST reclaim solution that simplifies local and foreign VAT\GST recovery for to global corporations.

We are looking for an experienced Product Manager that will lead our new strategic product of VAT Compliance, conduct the required discovery, plan the roadmap including the go to market actions.

You will play a key role in shaping this new product-line from concept to execution, become the focal point of all related activities towards creating impactful product functionality.

Responsibilities

·      Guide the entire product lifecycle from conceptualization to delivery, ensuring seamless execution.

·      Conduct thorough market research to map the ecosystem and competitive landscape, shaping Way2VAT's unique value proposition.

·      Define and refine product lifecycle processes, leveraging best practices and a deep understanding of agile methodologies.

·      Bring the customer perspective to the forefront, understanding pain points and expectations to inform product development.

·      Establish a shared vision, coordinating actionable plans with internal and external stakeholders.

·      Drive the product strategy and roadmap, prioritizing initiatives based on impact versus effort ratio.

·      Effectively communicate the roadmap and decision-making processes, ensuring alignment across the organization.

·      Ensure product-market fit and user satisfaction through continuous evaluation and adaptation.

·      Adopt a hands-on approach to product management, actively contributing to the development and execution processes.

Requirements

·      Minimum 5+ years of product management experience, with a proven track record of successfully launching early-stage products to production.

·      Possess strategic thinking skills, planning abilities, and expertise in product management.

·      Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.

·      Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, making informed, data-driven decisions.

·      Ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative environment.

·      Fluent or highly proficient in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

·      Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field. MBA is a plus.

·      Experience in building AI-based systems and understanding of machine learning concepts – an advantage.

·      Fintech industry experience – an advantage.
