One of our clients, an innovative Israeli start-up specializing in developing multidisciplinary systems, is currently seeking a Manager for their Software Group.

This group encompasses teams focused on the backend, embedded systems, infrastructure, and validation.

The company has secured funding from leading investment groups known for their support of cutting-edge technology ventures.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team to deliver high-quality releases, on time.
• Develop and lead the development cycle: requirements, plans and track execution accordingly
• Close work with interfaces, product management, architecture, Logic, HW, system engineering.
• Align SW Methodologies and coordinate them with other teams in the organization
• Lead Team leaders: backend, embedded and infrastructure and validation
• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of software projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and meet quality standards
• Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in software development within multidisciplinary international organizations.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of mentoring and developing a team of at least 20 software engineers including leading international teams.
• Proven ability to drive the software development life cycle from planning to deployment.
• Knowledge of software quality assurance principles and practices, including continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD).
• Proficient in Linux, Java, C++, Ubuntu, Kubernetes, Kotlin and Docker
• Skilled in developing sophisticated embedded Linux products.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a similar field.
